A passionate English Language Private Tutor and KS2 Class Teacher, with over 5 years' teaching experience, committed to inspire students to become enthusiastic lifelong learners, growing into well-rounded, compassionate and responsible young adults who are curious about the world and its beauties, confident enough to take risks to make the change they want to see in the world. If I could name three allies of mine in my working context, those would be my energy, my sense of humour and my team spirit, all of which are marshaled during my immersive approach to teaching through technology. Able to conduct online lessons through various educational e-platforms (Class Dojo, Bug Club, EdShed, Google Classroom, Desmos, Quizlet, et al.) that all contribute to both consolidation of knowledge and students’ entertainment.
Although both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies in English Language Teaching prepared me well for my profession, it wasn’t until I was employed as a Class Teacher in Primary and Secondary Schools of London, that I discovered my full potential around teaching. Diving into the different subjects of the British Curriculum and understanding the way English speaking schools operate gave me a unique insight into how to work with native speakers of English, either those being colleagues or students, and most importantly how to constantly improve the learning conditions, prioritize both my kids’ security and my personal development, as well as achieve parental satisfaction, as, admittedly, with supportive parents by their side, teachers can move mountains. Having already worked along 50 different nationalities and been deeply inspired by the multicultural, deeply diverse but simultaneously truly inclusive student-and-teacher background in the UK school industry, I more than ever acknowledge the impact of English in today’s society and the urgent need for online tuition. It is, thus, my strong will to transmit this knowledge to learners of various backgrounds and needs, so that learning is no longer a finite procedure but an inspiring, life-long experience.
