I have 2 years classroom teacher experience, and 5 years teaching training at the University of Glasgow. I have had the opportunity to work with a range of ages and stages, and continuously develop my teaching practice by keeping up to date with current changes in education. I had the opportunity to teach abroad in Italy, where I spent time in a school teaching them English through active and engaging lessons. therefore, I transfer these skills into my classroom teaching. I always ensure my lessons are fun, yet have a purpose. I encourage active learning and participation in lessons.
I am an energetic, responsible, and hardworking individual with a history of promoting positivity and engagement throughout my teaching career. I am enthusiastic and eager to contribute to success through attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. I am always motivated to learn, grow, and excel in my knowledge. I am always very well prepared, and I am willing to take on any task or challenge presented to me. I understand the need to support diversity within an education setting and I have firm values in ensuring equity for all. I always ensure I spend time with learners and am interested in their contributions but also in their wellbeing, to inspire confidence when learning something new.
Overall, I am a reflective and hardworking person who always strives to improve and challenge myself. I have high expectations for myself and have learned to set realistic targets for improving my learning and teaching by constantly reflecting on my practice.
