In my lessons, I create a friendly and engaging atmosphere where learning feels natural and enjoyable. I adapt the format depending on the student’s needs: for younger learners, lessons often include interactive activities, games, and reading practice to make learning the alphabet, phonics, and early literacy fun. For older students and adults, I focus on structured exercises, writing prompts, and discussions that build confidence in both creative and academic writing.
With an MA in English Creative Writing and professional experience in novel writing, scriptwriting, and content writing, I enjoy helping students explore their creativity, refine their writing style, and strengthen grammar and vocabulary. My background as a daycare assistant also means I’m patient, supportive, and skilled at breaking down concepts so they’re easy to understand. I also have direct experience working with children aged 1–10, guiding them through homework, early reading, and foundational learning.
I believe every student learns best when lessons are tailored to their interests and abilities, so I design sessions that combine creativity, practice, and encouragement. Whether it’s building confidence in reading, improving writing for school, or exploring storytelling, my goal is to inspire a love of English while helping students make steady progress. I am also open to working around your schedule and availability, just let me know when suits best and I will try and fit you in.
