My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each individual learner. I always aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence.

I am a fully qualified, GTCS-registered teacher with experience teaching across a range of ages and abilities. I have taught all areas of the primary curriculum and have particular strengths in Maths and Literacy. I also have experience supporting learners with additional support needs, including dyscalculia and dyslexia.

Lessons are planned around the learner’s individual needs and goals. I use clear explanations, worked examples, visual resources and plenty of opportunities for guided and independent practice. I can support pupils with specific areas they are finding difficult, homework, revision, assessment preparation or general confidence in a subject.

I believe learning should be engaging and achievable, so I adapt my teaching style and pace to suit each learner rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
