Erica Ayeyi Amoa Atta

Hi there! My name is Erica. I’m passionate about helping learners grow in confidence and discover their potential and I’m excited to help you on your learning journey! My Bachelor's degree was in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, providing me with a solid foundation in Math. I've always loved reading & writing, as I served as a Writing tutor in university as well. I have experience supporting university students as a teaching assistant, as well as working with younger learners and beginners as an Math & English tutor. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, clear explanations, and adapting my teaching style to each student. Since all my education was completed in Ghana in a university that was a melting pot of other countries, I believe I have a broader perspective on learning with people from different backgrounds as well.

In my lessons, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at your own pace. I like to make lessons interactive and practical, using examples and activities that connect to your interests and goals. Most importantly, I want us to get to know each other so I can understand how you learn best and tailor our lessons to you.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy working on puzzles, reading and writing.

Whether you’re a beginner building your English & Math skills, looking to improve your writing or your math, I’m here to support you, learn more about your goals, and help you make progress one lesson at a time. Book your first lesson with me, and let’s get started. I look forward to meeting you!
