Two decades of supporting learners, alongside my career
I am a project manager and have supported learners throughout, alongside work in humanitarian programmes, migration, hospitality and youth employability across the UK, France, Brazil and beyond. That mix is deliberate. I believe in the power of transferable skills, never more so than in the age of AI.
Most recently I led a London work-experience programme for young people aged 16 to 24, working alongside them and supporting mentor and mentee relationships.
Languages open the door
English and French are usually where we begin, and they open onto much more: confidence, study habits, clear reasoning, employability and knowing how to learn. I have supported school pupils across all subjects online, and adults with professional and Business English in transport, food and the arts.
At my best with teenagers and young adults
One to one or in small groups, online or in person in London. I am at my strongest with older school pupils, university students and working adults: people starting to make their own decisions and ready to own their progress.
Methodology rather than a textbook
You do not need your own material. If you have coursework, we use it. If not, I build what is missing: I have written lexicons and glossaries for vocational English in transport. We also work from real content: TED talks, BBC World, France 24, subjects you care about.
The why comes first
We establish where something leads before we work on it. Expect momentum, honest feedback, self-study tools you keep, and one aim: that you continue without me.
