When starting a lesson, I like to get to know the student and their academic ability, it is important that they have confidence in themselves so they are confident in their answers. I would start with a general test that will highlight the areas of difficult the student faces and we’ll tackle them together. We will start of at a slower pace to ensure that the student understands everything they’re learning, this will ensure that in exams they’ll be able to adapt what they have learnt to their questions. The student is free to ask questions at any time as I am here to help them. The student will also be given homework after each session to ensure that they are consolidating what they have learnt.
