Emmanuel Igwebuike

Hello! My name is Emmanuel, and I am a passionate Maths and Science tutor with a strong academic background in Engineering and several years of teaching and student support experience. I am currently pursuing a DPhil in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Huddersfield and also work as an Engineering Tutor, teaching Advanced Mathematics and Physics for Engineers.

My lessons are designed to be interactive, supportive, and adapted to each student’s individual learning style and academic needs. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. Whether a student is preparing for exams, struggling with difficult topics, or simply aiming to improve confidence in Maths or Science, I create lessons that are clear, engaging, and easy to follow.

I use a step-by-step teaching approach that includes simple explanations, worked examples, practice exercises, revision techniques, and exam-focused preparation. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and actively participate during lessons to help build confidence and independent problem-solving skills.

I have experience supporting students at different educational levels, including secondary school, GCSE, and beginner college-level learners. My background as a Cover Teacher, Teaching Assistant, and SEND Support Assistant has helped me develop strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills when working with students of different abilities.

Lessons can be delivered online or in person, depending on student preference. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, reduce academic stress, and help every student achieve their full potential.
