Hi! I’m excited to work with you towards achieving your academic goals, and you would be excited also to contact me when you get to know who I am. I’m a recent graduate and obviously still young so I understand how difficult and tiring school work can actually get. That’s why I developed a teaching technique to help my students. It’s called PAYL (play as you learn). It simply entails using things or events around us and trending topics in the country or the world at large to explain complex topics to my student. I came up with this technique when I was hired to be the Basic Science and Technology teacher for lower grade students in a school.
At first, I had a hard time getting through to the students as it seemed as though for the first few classes, all they wanted was for the class to be over so they could continue talking about the trending video they saw on their FYP page on Tiktok or something else entirely different from school work. That was when I noticed their interests and learnt how to convert their biggest distractions into perfect learning tools in the classroom.
