I have taught English and French as a foreign language for 2 years in schools in France and Jordan and for two summers in Poland. Trust me, I know that learning a language can be really scary and maybe even a bit boring (but don't tell your teacher!). I want to make learning languages fun.
In my classes we will talk a lot so that you can get really confident using your language. I like to use a lot of games in my classes because I believe that kids learn best when they're enjoying their studies.
The classes can be completely personalised to the needs of the student, but a standard class could look something like this:
-Recap of the previous class: let's play a game or discuss the homework writing task
-Reading a level-appropriate text aloud
-Discussing the text: What did you understand? Are there any words you didn't understand? What is your opinion about the message/characters/ideas?
-What new grammar structures did you see in the text? Let's study one!
-Activities and games to practise using the structures.
-Writing task: this can be at the end of the class or as homework
