About me

I am an English teacher at a local school with several years tutoring experience, including SEND students. I have successfully tutored all my students to a grade 4 or above.

I am an English teacher at a local school with several years tutoring experience, including SEND students. I have successfully tutored all my students to a grade 4 or above.
I have found during my years tutoring, that one of the most common barriers to learning is low academic self esteem which can often limit student’s achievements. As part of my lessons I build confidence in ability in addition to teaching how to answer exam questions.
All lessons will be student lead to ensure that once we have assessed the areas for focus and made a plan of action, the student is able to identify what areas they would find more useful to concentrate on and make changes as needed.
