Hi,
My name is Emily and I'm currently studying my A levels. In my GCSEs I achieved eleven 9's. I have experience in tutoring Maths, English (language and literature) and all three Sciences to KS1, KS2 and KS3 levels. I'm happy to teach KS2 and KS3 including GCSE level.

The books I studied for my English GCSE (AQA) were Jane Eyre, Lord of the Flies and Macbeth. Although I also have experience teaching Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, as well as Inspector calls. If you let me know before the lesson, I'm more than happy to teach other books to help my students perform well!

I offer personalised 1-to-1 online tuition designed to build your child’s confidence and boost their results. Each lesson begins with a short starter task to check understanding, followed by clear, step-by-step teaching of new material. We then practise the skills together, before providing time to try it independently to improve confidence.

After each session, I set targeted homework to reinforce learning, which I mark in detail and provide constructive, encouraging feedback on. My aim is to make every lesson productive, engaging, and tailored exactally to your child’s needs- helping them to make effective progress week after week.
