Emily Grice

I am an experienced Food Preparation & Cookery teacher with over 15 years of teaching and workshop experience. My sessions are known for being engaging, enthusiastic and fun, and throughout my career I have helped students achieve excellent results by building confidence, creativity and practical skill.

Every workshop or programme is tailor-made to suit the learner. Students are always proud of what they produce, whether they are beginners or developing advanced skills.

I offer a wide range of one-off workshops, including:

Italian cookery with fresh pasta making

Chocolate making

Asian street food and sushi

Multicultural cooking

Local and seasonal cookery

I support students with GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition, and can provide a complete, structured programme for Home Education learners. I can also help Food and Catering students prepare for practical exams and competitions such as Future Chef. For students working towards D of E schemes, I provide support and workshops either in person or online to help achieve the the skills section of the award.

For companies and organisations, I deliver team-building and enrichment cookery activities that are creative, collaborative and memorable.

I am fully insured, hold an enhanced portable DBS, and can provide all equipment and ingredients. For school-aged students and Home Ed families, I offer one-to-one sessions at home or online, as well as group sessions at a Home Ed Hub.

I also run holiday clubs from Romsey School, North Baddesley Scout Hall, and The Gregg School food rooms (TBC).
