Emilia Burnage

I completed my art and design in college with a triple distinction star, followed by graduating in 2023 from Teesside university with a Bachelor of Arts. I work at a primary school as a teaching assistant setting up arts and crafts so I know the dynamics of lessons. I would start each lesson by explaining the objective for each session and what we would like to achieve.
For example testing knowledge to see what the pupil knows on the topic we will be focusing on. For example colour theory. - the goal for the end of the lesson is to be able to confidently recognise colour theory patterns.

I am patient and enthusiastic. I believe it is extremely important for young people to be able to express themselves through a creative outlet and I would love to be the reason a pupil gets the opportunity to be able to expand their creative mindset through my lessons, creating a better understand about art for them.
