I have one year experience working in a secondary school environment. I like to structure my lessons by beginning with warm up activities, moving onto an analysis of text and then finishing with extended writing. I take into account the students needs. I always plan my lessons with a clear objective in mind and tailor my activities based on the students areas for improvement. I also like to make my lessons fun and engaging. For younger students I include learning games and for older students I prefer to use more questioning strategies to prompt independent thought.
