I’m a GCSE and Primary Maths tutor with over two years of online teaching experience, and my lessons are designed to make Maths simple, structured, and actually enjoyable. I hold GCSE and A-Level Maths qualifications, along with a First-Class degree in Economics, which had a very strong quantitative focus. This background helps me break down tricky concepts in a way that students understand straight away.

My lesson style is very interactive. I don’t just lecture I work through problems with students step by step, showing them how to approach questions logically rather than just memorising methods. I use a mix of exam-style practice, worked examples, and live problem-solving so students can immediately apply what they’ve learned. I also focus heavily on building confidence, especially for students who think they’re “bad at Maths.” My goal is always to show them that once concepts are explained clearly and broken down properly, everything becomes much easier.

I tailor every lesson to the student. If they’re preparing for GCSEs, we’ll work through past papers, topic tests, and the exam specification to maximise marks. For 11+ students, I focus on core skills like arithmetic, non-verbal reasoning, problem-solving, and timed practice to build accuracy and speed.

Overall, I create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. That’s how real progress happens. Whether a student wants to boost their grades, prepare for an exam, or just feel more confident in Maths, I’m here to help them get there.
