My lessons are designed to be interactive, structured and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I teach a variety of subjects at GCSE and A-Level, with lessons typically lasting 60 minutes.

Firstly, I identify any topics that my student finds most challenging and then break them down into simple, easy to understand steps. Lessons include clear explanations, worked examples and exam-style questions, giving students the opportunity to apply what they have learned. I also focus heavily on exam technique, including how to structure answers, show working effectively and maximise marks.

I also encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and adapt my teaching style depending on how they learn best. My aim is not just to help students memorise content, but to develop a strong understanding of the subject and the confidence to tackle unfamiliar questions independently.

I also believe that regular practice and feedback are important for making consistent progress. Throughout lessons, I will identify areas where students can improve and provide guidance on how to approach similar questions in the future. I can also help students prepare for upcoming tests and exams by focusing on specific topics, practising past-paper questions and developing effective revision techniques.

Whether a student needs support with a particular topic, wants to improve their exam technique or is looking to challenge themselves further, I aim to make each lesson productive and focused on their individual goals and learning style. I want students to develop the skills and confidence to eventually approach questions independently.
