I am an experienced lecturer both face to face and online teaching. As a neurodiverse thinker I encourage learners to think outside of the box and develop skills that can be applied in industry and to your submissions. I am dsylexic however this enables me to review your work and give support on how to develop your modes of study, especially when you want to procrastinate rather than study!
I have taught Business, HR/SHRM, Leadership and Management qualifications for 4 years now including CIPD and CMI, in addition to teaching I have over 20 years of industry experience to support knowledge development. I am competent from Level 1 - Level 6 teaching covering High School up to Degree Level students.
I have also been an assessor for various awarding bodies so I understand what they are looking for when scoring and how the command verbs should be used to enhance your work.
Students have always fed back from sessions that they are interesting, supportive and give clarity to studies - the lighbulb moment we are all looking for. I have won an award for innovative practices in my teaching which allows students to engage through various platforms such as Wakelet, Kahoot!, Microsoft One Note and Padlet (this list is not exhaustive and will find the right mode for you). These platforms allow students to enhance studies and discover alternate ways to research content required.
I am flexible meaning supporting you in evenings and weekends are not a problem, and I can give clarity on feedback to support your work being enhanced in exams or assignments. I also proof read submissions to support where changes could be made and how rubrics are used at degree level to validate work. I can also explain Learning Outcomes and give direction on topics that you have chosen.
