My lessons are fun, engaging and tailored to each child’s individual needs, ability and learning style. As a UK-trained primary school teacher, I have experience teaching the UK curriculum across EYFS to Year 6 and can support a wide range of subjects, including phonics, reading, writing, English, Maths, science and school entrance preparation.

I like to begin by getting to know each student, identifying their strengths and areas for development, and then planning lessons around their individual goals. I use a mixture of questioning, discussion, interactive activities, games, practical tasks and written work to keep lessons varied and engaging.

Building confidence is at the heart of my teaching. I want children to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves without feeling pressured. I adapt my approach throughout the lesson depending on how the child is responding, ensuring they understand each concept before moving forward.

Most importantly, I want students to finish every lesson feeling proud of what they have achieved, more confident in their abilities and excited about their next lesson.
