As a current Oxford student, I have completed the PAT myself so have recent experience undergoing the exam as well as familiarity with the topics involved. As entrance exams often differ from A-Level exams (for example) I would follow closely with the specification given by Oxford to ensure that you are confident with the knowledge required to succeed. Additionally, we would go over lots of exam strategy and past papers, especially in the lead up to the exam itself so that the transition to the actual PAT is as smooth as possible.

I have about a year of experience tutoring students younger than myself, particularly in maths, which makes me confident in my ability to tutor students preparing for the PAT. As the exam is currently entirely multiple choice, I will teach exam strategy so that the student can maximise the marks they achieve. As my lessons would be delivered via webcam, this makes the lessons flexible around the students availability that week, and I am happy to do multiple sessions per week if needed, especially closer to October.
