As a second year student of French and Spanish at Durham University, my passion not only for language, but culture, politics and literature, allow me to apply my linguistic enthusiasm to an educational environment. Having taken A Level Maths, attaining a 9 at GCSE and an A at A Level, I am also able to tutor Maths to GCSE level.

Having taken great enjoyment in studying languages throughout my school life, my degree level study, led by native speakers, has sharpened my understanding of French grammar and linguistics allowing me to write, speak and listen with fluency.

As a result of my linguistic ability, I have a rather different, creative approach to teaching Maths. It is less factual and based around exactly how to find an answer, therefore deepening understanding.

As a person, I am engaging, organised, excited about the concept of igniting the same interest that I have in language in a young learner, through a creative nuance.
