My lessons are designed to be clear, supportive, and focused on helping students genuinely understand Geography rather than memorising content without context. I currently study Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews, which builds directly on my strong background in Geography and has helped me develop a broad understanding of both physical and human topics, as well as how they connect to real-world issues.
In lessons, I take a step-by-step approach, breaking topics down into manageable parts and explaining ideas in a clear, calm way. I use simple examples, diagrams, and questions to check understanding as we go, and I adapt lessons depending on how confident the student feels with the material. If something isn’t clear, I am always happy to slow down and explain it again in a different way.
I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I know from my own experience as a student that confidence plays a big role in success, so I focus on building this alongside subject knowledge. Where helpful, I can also support students with exam-style questions, revision techniques, and understanding how to approach Geography assessments.
All lessons are delivered online and tailored to each student’s level and goals. My aim is to help students feel more confident in Geography, develop a real interest in the subject, and leave each lesson with a clearer understanding than when they started. I am friendly, patient, and always happy to adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles.
