Elaine Jackson

I have been working as an educator for over 6 years, teaching across a range of SCQF levels from I am currently programme lead for the National 5 and Higher senior phase delivery of psychology for the University of the Highlands and Islands, but also teach across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate course too such as research methods, individual differences and forensic psychology. My current research examines bias within legal decision-making and the criminal justice system. My main research interest and specialism is jury decision-making, most recently within rape trials. I am eager to advance this research by examining the attitudes that underpin gender-based violence.
