16 years experience working as an Accountant in practice and industry in both private and public companies. Chartered Accountants Ireland qualified and passed on first attempt. When I was in school I really struggled to get a grasp of accounting concepts etc and I found accounting to be a very challenging subject. Finally after repeating the subject again in college it all made sense and I am now a whizz at accounting! I would consider myself a very patient and empathetic tutor as I can remember the difficulties that I experienced as an accounting student and therefore have an immense understanding of what the student may be struggling with. I also love to use everyday real world examples to try help the student to understand and keep them awake and interested! For me the payment is a bonus but knowing that you have helped a student excel is the biggest reward! I am happy to work with all school levels and at uni/college level Financial Accounting would be my specialism.
