I am a young teacher who will provide personal online lessons to anyone who wants to learn English as a second language. I have experience in volunteering with children - both English nationals and international students which has improved my teaching skills. However, I have also done some developing lessons with adults which was primarily discussion to develop speaking. I am completely fluent in English but have gone through English as a second language lessons as a school student so I understand how they should be run for people who are not native speakers. Lessons will be engaging and fun as I find speaking the most affective way of learning a language, however we will, of course, also have to do some grammar and vocabulary to improve your English skills as it is important to understand the structure of the language. We could do revision after every session - for example, flash cards put in different piles based on how strong your knowledge is, a spider diagram or we can write everything you know on a blank sheet of paper. When I was learning English, one of the main reasons why I am fluent and even have a bit of a North Yorkshire accent is because I had a lot of practice with my English family and friends. I think it is crucial to have discussion, especially on topics that you are keen on. As a person who lives in the UK, I could also provide you with catchy phrases and interesting cultural facts. Our lessons will be engaging and will up your language level!
