Native English speaker from Ireland with a Master degree in Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching. Before doing my Masters, I worked as an English teacher in an academy in Mardid, Spain for two years. Within the two years I was trained in tutoring for IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge and Duolingo exams. I was also trained as a level tester so if you've never studied English before I can do a quick level test to figure out where you should begin. Ive also taught group and individual classes for business English and academic English. My key strength is grammar, both written and spoken, however I can adapt classes to the individual or group needs. Patience is key when it comes to learning a language and everyone learns at a different pace. The speed of my classes will depend on the students abilities, needs and deadlines (if any).
I've learnt language my whole life (Irish, French and Spanish), so I understand and relate to the stress (and sometimes, frustration) of learning a language, BUT I also know the pure joy of getting that grammatical aspect correct for the first time, or having your first fluid conversation.
