I have for the past fifteen years taught GCSE/AS/A-Levels privately, initially face to face then from 2006, online; teaching 33 students, with 100% pass rate and 93% success rate, in students attaining a level 5 or level 4 grade in the exam. Furthermore, I currently act as an Associate Examiner for the AQA Exam Board in Sociology and I am an examiner for the AQA History NEA Complement 3. For the past three years I have worked with several tutoring services agencies Including Choice Home Tutoring services, and I this year I tutored 4 Politics A level student 3 attained grade (including 1 A*) and 1 Grade B.As well as specialising in teaching of the AQA and Edexcel Exam Board Papers in Politics, Sociology and History. I have extensive experience in the design and delivery of online courses (further developed by teaching degree courses online between ) and an excellent understand of both pedagogy and andragogy and in particular, designing and tailoring individual lesson plans to enable 16-18 year olds make the transition from pedagogical (child centred) to andragogical (adult-centred learning) to enable them to become more proactive about their learning so to make the transition from studying at A level, to Level 4 at degree level.For each one hour tutorial is broken down into 4 x15 Minute segments which include interactive quizzes and other activities for the students to complete in the class. This promotes students critical reflection on the assessment outcomes for the course of study and students report that although I worked them hard and the sessions are well structured, that I provide a safe learning environment and make lessons fun uninteresting.
