I'm a native Turkish speaker who has spent years teaching students from all over the world, both online and in individual sessions. My lessons are built around one simple idea: you learn a language by actually using it, not by memorizing endless rules.
Each lesson starts with a quick check-in on your goals and how you're progressing, so we always know exactly where to focus. From there, the format flexes depending on your level and what you need most. Beginners get plenty of structure — core vocabulary, essential grammar, and simple dialogues you can start using right away. Intermediate and advanced students spend more time in free conversation, working through real topics like travel, work, culture, or current events, so the language feels alive rather than academic.
I mix things up throughout each session: some grammar explained in plain, practical terms, some listening and pronunciation practice, and a lot of speaking — because confidence comes from talking, not just studying. I use real-life examples and natural dialogue instead of stiff textbook phrases, so what you learn actually matches how Turkish is spoken today.
I also pay close attention to pronunciation and rhythm, since these are often overlooked but make a huge difference in sounding natural. Mistakes are treated as part of the process, not something to fear — I correct gently and keep things encouraging.
Homework and extra materials are available if you want more practice between lessons, but they're never mandatory. My priority is making sure every session feels useful, personal, and genuinely enjoyable.
