Lessons will progress at whatever speed the student is comfortable with, and I will tailor the lesson format to the needs and ability of the student, allowing personalised one-on-one maths sessions. I prepare lessons so that they are as interactive as possible, as I know from experience that engagement with children and teenagers can sometimes be a tricky balance to get right. I aim to simplify mathematical concepts to a level that is understandable by anyone, as I know that laying the foundations is key to learning any topic. The lessons will be structured for the best maths learning experience whilst adhering to the key topic content. They will include demonstrations, targeted practise questions, examples, and relevant applications of the topic to the real world.
