Edine Van Den Bergh

My name is Edine, but students call me Teacher Elly. I am 33 years old, and I am a very patient, caring, and humorous person. People have told me I am spontaneous and easy to get along with. I love teaching and meeting new people.

Academic background: I graduated from high school in 2008, I studied Tourism Management and Culinary Arts. In 2010 I started working for a corporate company where I obtained a Credit Management diploma. I completed my TEFL Level 5 advanced diploma and ESL certificate.
I'm currently studying part-time for a Bachelor of Education and Education Psychology.

I have 3 years of teaching experience. I have taught various nationalities and different ages. The nationalities I have taught were Chinese, Korean, Italian, and Ukrainian. The youngest student I taught was 4 years old and the oldest was 48 years old.
I also have experience teaching/working on Classin, Zoom, and Skype.

My teaching style: Individual approach is the key. I prefer to use a variety of teaching styles in my classes.
The goal is always to keep the engagement and motivation high and ensure we progress with all students. In my last teaching job, I achieved great results with total physical response and action-based and game-based learning. I can assure you that I'm ready to apply different teaching styles in my lessons, to achieve the best possible results with the students.
