I fell in love with English during high school and so chose to study both English Literature and English Language at college. Now I am in my final term at The University of Manchester studying English Literature!

I love reading! My favourite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, just in case you’re interested!

Within my lessons I strive to offer my students alternative approaches or alternative perspectives if the content is difficult. I can still remember the horrible brain fog when presented with a challenging piece of writing and I will try my absolute hardest to help clear that fog for my students, showing you that there are other possibilities in order to reach the other side.

I will also offer revision tips if that’s an area you struggle with!

I’m never going to ask my students to become passionate about English because I absolutely understand that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I will strive to help people see that the subject can be manageable and rewarding! I will never be pushy or controlling a because I understand that if something isn’t working then it will be changed!

I will always be positive and approachable. There are no silly questions in my opinion. I want my students to feel completely comfortable to ask anything, whether that be something you’re interested in or something that’s confusing. I will do my absolute best to answer you!
