My lessons are carried out using visual tools and bespoke learning slides typically shared as pdf files.

I typically begin by introducing Interior design, its historical context and the experiential applications that technology has allowed us to create today.

Interiors Design is a visual subject, my aim is to demonstrate the basics of planning and navigating space and then how furniture, fixtures and fittings can be applied to give space a purpose, make it usable, ergonomic. unique, beautiful and exciting.

I also demonstrate the basis technique of drawing and how computer technology can be used to enhance how you present your own interior design work to family, friends or even clients.

Learning modules typically cover residential, retail, hospitality and commercial spacial design and are illustrated by use of my project work for a broad range of clients across the UK, EMEA and the USA.

I gear these modules to the specific student so it may be

Residential design and planning, specific room design, Kitchens living room bathrooms , outdoor space, use of colour, lighting, furnishing (soft and hard) and the use of services in interiors from air conditioning and air handling to lighting control and wi-fi based entertainment systems.

Retail Design and branding and pop up space

My key aim is to inspire and make my students see both the personal value and commercial opportunity having an interior design skill set can bring with a view to encouraging students to consider a formal creative design education.
