Dylan Owens

I am an undergraduate student reading BA Geography (L700) at University College London (UCL). I have studied Geography at both GCSE (iGCSE) and A Level, in which I achieved an A*. Not only do I have experience within Geography, but due to my keen interest in guitar and early years teaching, I have also had the pleasure of tutoring early years Music students, robotics, reading and writing and phonics. Alongside this, I have worked as a private in-person guitar instructor and been involved in other projects, such as my work with Caring for Cambodia, a not-for-profit group in Cambodia who help underprivileged children access education, and for whom I also developed an AI program which benefited a minimum of 10,000 students and teachers in Cambodia. I will be able to draw on these experiences to create the perfect style of learning for any of my students, whether that means a focus on knowledge based skills, essay writing, or any other element of this complex and interdisciplinary subject. My primary experience with Geography is that of GCSE/iGCSE and A Level, although I am able to accommodate other subjects, such as GCSE Economics, History and other social sciences.
