Format & Structure

7–11 Entrance Exam Prep (7+, 8+, 11+): 60-minute dynamic sessions designed around the attention spans of younger learners. Each lesson is divided into short, engaging blocks: a rapid fire warm up, core technique instruction (such as spatial visualisation for non verbal reasoning or elimination strategies for verbal reasoning), and guided puzzle solving drills. We finish with a clear recap and actionable practice points for the week ahead.

GCSE Tuition: Focused, exam-oriented 60- to 90-minute masterclasses. We start with a quick diagnostic review of recent mock questions or homework hurdles, spend the bulk of the session breaking down high-tariff questions and dissecting examiner mark schemes, and finish with timed, independent application to build speed and precision.

Content & Lesson Dynamics

Interactive & Analytical: I do not believe in passive lecture-style teaching. Lessons are collaborative conversations where students are encouraged to articulate why an answer works, spot patterns early, and critique their own working.

Supportive yet rigorous: for younger students, the environment is warm, patient, and gamified to build lasting confidence and eliminate test anxiety. For GCSE students, the tone shifts to sharp, outcome driven coaching that trains them to think like the examiner and secure top-band marks.

Background & Experience
Strong Academic Foundation: I hold an LLB from Queen Mary University of London and a legal Master's qualification, bringing rigorous analytical training, structural precision, and clear communication to every subject I teach.

Proven track record: extensive experience mentoring and coaching students through competitive London independent school entrance exams (including CEM and GL assessment formats) and national curriculum GCSEs, helping learners transform target grades into confirmed results.
