Dr Nesrin

With over 20 years of experience in higher education, I am passionate about inspiring students to excel in design, creativity, and academic research. I have taught at leading universities across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE, including Prince Sultan University, Box Hill College Kuwait (Australian University), and the Australian University. I am also a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA), reflecting my commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

I hold a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Art Education from Helwan University, Egypt, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (FHEA) from the United Kingdom and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from Box Hill College Kuwait. My doctoral research was nominated among the best doctoral dissertations in Egypt, and my master's research earned the UNESCO Poster Competition Award at the national university level.

My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging, supportive, and student-focused learning environment. Every lesson is tailored to each student's goals, learning style, and level of experience. I have published numerous research papers in international journals and conferences and have presented my work at both national and international events. Most recently, I was honored with the UAE Golden Visa under the category of Creative and Distinguished Individuals in Culture and Art in recognition of my contributions to design education and the creative industries.
