Experienced leader and mentor seeking to support students. My diverse life journey, calm approach, and commitment to personal growth enable me to guide young people with empathy and clarity.

After a long and successful career in the fresh produce industry, leading teams across the UK and internationally, I am now committed to using my experience to support young people as they develop confidence, resilience, and direction.
Throughout more than forty years in leadership, I became known not only for my technical and commercial expertise but for my ability to mentor, guide, and develop others. I have supported colleagues through personal and professional challenges, built strong, diverse teams, and created environments where people felt understood and able to grow. My work across cultures has strengthened my communication skills and my ability to connect with individuals from all backgrounds.
My personal journey has shaped me just as strongly. Having experienced foster care and time in a children’s home, and as a father to three grown sons and an adopted neurodiverse daughter, I understand the importance of stability, encouragement, and tailored support. I also bring experience as a scout leader, football coach, and trained teacher, alongside a qualification in mental health.
I am calm, supportive, and committed to helping young people thrive.
