You probably won't find a tutor who has so much teaching experience getting students through GCSE and A level English, as well as the depth of knowledge, research skills, and 'art for art's sake' passion for my subject that comes from earning a PhD from a Russell Group university.

I have a wide range of classroom experience that has taught me about students as individuals, each with potential and value. My aim is for every student to leave my classroom or online tutorial feeling they have understood something new about themselves and their environment through acquiring new skills in reading and writing and reflecting on great literature.

I am able to develop advanced study skills and assist with university applications because of my academic background and experience of teaching in highly academic, non-selective schools such as Patana and Hasmonean. Recent experience teaching GCSE retake classes and A Levels in an FE college has demanded adaptive teaching skills in order to get students with various support needs passing grades.

What you get with me is a teacher who will personalise the subject so that it engages your interests and style of working. For me this is the charm of education. My job is to get you passing grades or that star to go with your A and I have one that for thousands of students.
