My lessons are often student led where I have a support role to encourage them to explore their own styles and ideas. I believe a lot of art and design starts from within and this is how you foster a creative eye and style. Of course I pay close attention to the syllabus which is where the support comes in, ensuring that work made is true to the student but also fulfills the brief. I have 4 years experience teaching at level 3 and 4 art and design, and prior to this I have also taught print at university level. I have also experience with young students working on portfolios to gain scholarships - all of which have been successful.
