I’ve always loved Maths because there’s something really satisfying about solving problems. That moment when everything finally clicks just feels great, and it’s something I want my students to experience too. Instead of focusing on memorising methods, I try to help you understand the logic behind what you’re doing. Once you understand why something works, Maths becomes a lot less stressful and a lot more enjoyable.

I keep my lessons flexible depending on what you need. Some students come in knowing exactly what they struggle with, while others just feel a bit lost and aren’t sure where to start. Either way is completely fine. We can go through specific topics, work on homework, practise past papers, or go over anything from class that didn’t make sense. If needed, we can also figure out together which areas need more attention and build from there.

When it comes to exams, I also focus on helping you recognise patterns in questions and avoid common mistakes. A lot of Maths is not just about understanding the content, but also knowing how to approach questions in the right way, especially under time pressure.

Back in school, I was always the one helping my friends with Maths and Economics. I realised that explaining things in a simple and clear way really helps things stick, and that’s something I’ve carried into my teaching. I believe you only truly understand something when you can explain it, so I try to break everything down into steps that actually make sense, instead of just expecting you to remember it.

I want lessons to feel relaxed and comfortable, where you can ask anything without worrying about getting it wrong. Everyone learns at a different pace, and my goal is to help you build confidence as well as understanding.

Whether you’re trying to improve your grades, prepare for exams, or just want to feel more confident in Maths, I’ll work with you at your pace and help you get there in a way that feels manageable.
