Tutoring Approach The most important first step is to understand where we are starting from and where we want to get to. This may be attaining a specific final grade, mastering different elements of exam technique, or just feeling more comfortable with a specific topic. Once we have this agreement, we can look at how we are going to get from where we are to meet those goals.
I am keen to ensure that students find our sessions both enjoyable and engaging, so that they are encouraged to continue our momentum into their studies at school/college and in their own time.
With all my students, I make sure to develop a student’s ability to use their learning time effectively, as well as focus on coursework and exam technique, which are a major part of success at GCSE and A-Level.
I am always personable and friendly, and value the connection I build with students during our time together – I really am invested in the success of every student I work with!
