I aim to tailor all of my lessons to the individual student. We will work together to understand what your best ways of working are, whether that's visually, audio or kinaesthetic. From there we can work on a strategy to help you learn in a comfortable, well-paced, and importantly, fun way.

I'm an energetic, creative, compassionate and empathetic individual with bags of personality, so my aim is to ensure all my students feel comfortable to engage and test themselves in a safe environment. No question is too simple and certainly never stupid.

My career has been deeply seated in the wine trade for the past decade, and I recently set up my own small business (registered in April 2025) to look after private and corporate clients, providing consultancy and concierge services, as well as hosting private client and corporate events. I'd be delighted to share my experience and new knowledge on building a small start up business.

Prior to my career in the wine trade, I spent many years working in the hospitality sector, working as a bar supervisor at country gastropubs, as well as at high end 5-star hotels.

I'm a huge music fan and keen guitarist having been self-taught from the age of 12, and have played in bands from time to time. I used to DJ around Oxford during my uni days mixing drum & bass. I'd be delighted to provide some lessons or tips on either guitar or mixing if that's also of interest. I'm also a keen gym goer and regular weight train. During my school days I was keen sportsman, playing rugby (up to county level), tennis, athletics and cricket.
