Hello! My name is Dogaç, and I am a native Turkish speaker currently living in Liverpool, where I am studying for an MSc at Liverpool John Moores University. I would love to help you learn Turkish in a way that feels natural, practical and enjoyable.

About me: I have lived, studied and worked in Turkey, Australia, Belgium, the USA and the UK. I completed an Erasmus+ exchange in Belgium, worked in the USA on a cultural exchange programme, and trained as a physiotherapist, working with patients and athletes of all ages and nationalities. Because of this, I am very comfortable communicating with people from different countries and backgrounds, and I know how it feels to function in a language that is not your own. I speak English at C1 level, so I can explain grammar and vocabulary clearly in English whenever you need it.

How my lessons work: Every student starts with a short conversation about your level, your goals and why you want to learn Turkish, whether that is travel, work, family, relocation or an exam. Then we build lessons around you. Expect a lot of speaking and listening, practical vocabulary for real situations, clear and simple grammar explanations, and pronunciation practice, which is often the hardest part for new learners. I adapt the pace and the method to your level, from complete beginner to advanced, and to your learning style.
