Typically my lessons start of with reviewing and going through the questions I gave as homework in the last session. After dealing with the problems in the homework, we move onto the next topic in the course. the middle of the lessons consists of trying questions and seeing examples of the questions. Usually, my students do get some wrong so we work on problem solving skills and see where they made the mistake. After that, my student then works in silence, for about 10-15 mins, and works on the questions given. I also add harder questions in the mix as I want to examine their problem solving skills as well as see what methods they use to solve the questions. This helps me to determine what level they are at and what they need to work on next. After that is done, we review the questions and see if they have any questions that they got particularly stuck on, or questions where they just didn’t understand what was going on. Once that is done, I set homework for the next lesson.
