Hi! I am a Master of Fine Arts, and I’m excited to share my knowledge and curiosity about art with you. Together, we’ll explore the building blocks of visual language—color, composition, line, shape, texture, value, and space—and how these elements work together to communicate ideas and emotions. Whether you’re brand new to art or have been creating for years, there is always something new to discover, question, and refine.
I truly love teaching and talking about art. For me, art is not just about technique or finished pieces; it’s about the process of looking closely, slowing down, and learning to see the world with greater awareness. We’ll discuss how artists make choices, why certain works feel powerful, and how personal experiences shape creative expression. There are no “wrong” answers here—curiosity and experimentation are always encouraged.
Making and looking at art is something we all need in our lives. It can help us feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to ourselves and others. Art gives us a safe space to feel emotions, ask questions, and express ideas that may be hard to put into words. It can be playful, thoughtful, challenging, and deeply rewarding all at once.
Feel free to ask anything—about techniques, materials, art history, creative blocks, or how to develop your own artistic voice. I’m happy to explore it with you. Thanks, and I’m looking forward to our conversations about art!
Art is a lifelong journey, and every question, sketch, and conversation brings us closer to deeper understanding and creative confidence.
