Dilara Kasikci

I am a qualified Maths teacher with a PGCE and QTS, and I have over seven years of teaching and tutoring experience. I spent five years tutoring in Turkey and have worked for the last two years in the UK secondary sector. I have experience teaching students across KS1 to KS4, GCSE, Functional Skills, and 11+ preparation.

I have supported a wide range of learners, including SEND students and those with learning difficulties or autism. I believe that every student learns differently, and I always adapt my lessons to meet individual needs. My lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and engaging, helping students build confidence and develop a solid understanding of mathematical concepts.

During lessons, I use a combination of visual aids, practical examples, and exam-style questions to make learning both effective and enjoyable. I focus on identifying gaps in knowledge and helping students strengthen their problem-solving skills step by step.

My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students gain confidence and enjoy learning Maths. I provide a supportive, patient, and positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
