I am a native Turkish speaker and a qualified preschool teacher from Turkey with professional experience working with young children. Teaching children has always been something I enjoy, and I believe that children learn a language best when they feel comfortable, happy and interested.

My online Turkish lessons are designed especially for children and beginners. I adapt each lesson according to the child’s age, current Turkish level, interests and learning needs.

For younger children, I use age-appropriate activities such as stories, pictures, songs, simple games, repetition and everyday conversations. My aim is to make learning Turkish enjoyable rather than making children feel that they are attending a traditional classroom lesson.

I can help children develop their Turkish vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and speaking skills. I can also support children from Turkish-speaking families who are growing up in the UK and understand some Turkish but need more confidence speaking the language.

As a former preschool teacher, I understand that every child has a different learning style and attention span. I am patient and supportive, and I adjust the pace of the lesson to suit each individual child.

Parents are welcome to tell me about their child’s needs and goals before the first lesson so that I can prepare suitable activities.
