I have been teaching for 27 years. My method of teaching is: explaining and modeling first, this way the content is very clear. Then giving a related assignment where the student will demonstrate what was learned. I may then do a quick review or reteach in a varied way if necessary. As the lessons go on, I like to always revisit contents taught in mini lessons to maintain knowledge learned. Besides the contents taught, I also like to motivate students by being positive, and making them aware of their progress. Also, having high expectations and making sure students reach these high goals, that they work to their best potential. While working with the students, I like to pay close attention to the kind of person and student this individual is, this way I can find the most suitable way to teach this person academically and maybe even socially. I have experience teaching Spanish and English, more to students at the elementary level. I can teach Spanish and English to second language learners.
