Destiny Kanu

Hi i’m Destiny, i believe that my lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I begin each session with a quick recap of previous topics to reinforce understanding and build confidence. From there, we move into the main focus of the lesson, which could be anything from basic arithmetic and times tables to fractions, decimals, or problem-solving techniques. I use a step-by-step approach and plenty of visual aids or real-life examples to make concepts easy to grasp.

I make sure every lesson has a clear structure but stays flexible depending on the student’s pace. I believe learning should feel positive and pressure-free, so I include interactive activities, mini challenges, or maths games to keep things fun and engaging. I also give encouragement and constructive feedback throughout, helping students feel proud of their progress.

My experience comes from tutoring my younger siblings regularly. Through this, I’ve learned how to explain tricky topics in simple ways and adapt quickly when something isn’t clicking. I’ve seen how important it is to be patient, encouraging, and to celebrate small wins it builds confidence and makes a big difference in how children view maths.

Whether your child needs extra help to catch up or wants to stay ahead, my goal is to make maths feel less scary and more exciting. I create a safe space where students aren’t afraid to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. Every lesson is about building skills, confidence, and a can-do attitude that lasts beyond the classroom.
