My lessons are dynamic, creative, and centered around the unique goals and interests of each student. Whether we’re focusing on grammar, vocabulary, conversation skills, or writing, I aim to create a space where learners feel comfortable expressing themselves and confident in their growth.
I bring experience as a Program Facilitator with Mobile Makers Chicago, where I led design and storytelling workshops for high school students. I also served as a Curatorial Teaching Fellow with TRACE (Teens Reimagining Art, Community & Environment), where I facilitated conversations about art, identity, and social issues with young people. These roles have shaped my teaching philosophy: that learning should be engaging, collaborative, and rooted in freedom of expression.
In my English lessons, I use a mix of structured exercises and open conversation practice. I draw from current events, music, film, and creative prompts to make lessons relevant and personal. I’m particularly passionate about helping students find their voice in English, whether that’s through writing, speaking, or understanding cultural nuances.
My goal is to support your learning journey with empathy, patience, and encouragement. Every learner brings something unique to the table, and I’m here to help you build confidence, fluency, and joy in your use of English.
