Demidu Bookoladeniya

I hold a First Class BSc. (Hons.) in Biomedical Sciences and have worked as both a Research Assistant at the University of Colombo and an Academic Demonstrator at CINEC Campus, where I taught undergraduate modules in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, and Clinical Science.

My teaching style is student-focused and interactive. I begin by assessing each student’s current understanding and learning goals, then design clear explanations, real-life examples, and practice exercises to strengthen their knowledge. For complex topics, I use diagrams, step-by-step breakdowns, and active questioning to make concepts easier to grasp.

Whether it’s exam preparation, homework help, or building a stronger foundation in biology, I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and confidence-boosting. I also integrate skills from my research background, helping students connect theory to real applications in science.
